Is it necessary to regularly check the electrical control cabinet of the water jet loom?

The electrical control cabinet of the water jet loom must be inspected regularly. The following are specific reasons and inspection points, based on equipment maintenance practice:


Dust and moisture prevention to avoid short circuits
Dust or moisture accumulation inside the electrical control cabinet can cause corrosion and short circuit of the circuit board. The water vapor environment of the water jet loom is heavy, and dust is easily conductive. It is recommended to clean the cabinet with a brush or vacuum cleaner every week, especially the heat dissipation port and the surface of the circuit board. Check if the sealing strip of the cabinet door is aging and replace it in a timely manner.


Tighten the wiring to prevent loosening faults
Equipment vibration can cause loose wiring terminals in the electrical control cabinet, leading to poor contact or ignition. Use a screwdriver to tighten the power and signal wire terminals item by item every month, and check for wear and tear on the cables to avoid grounding short circuits.


Monitor sensors to ensure stable operation
The wiring of sensors such as yarn breakage detection and weft yarn probes is centralized in the electrical control cabinet. Wipe the sensor interface with anhydrous alcohol cotton every two weeks to check if the plug is oxidized. If an increase in false shutdowns is found, priority should be given to investigating whether the power supply voltage of the sensors inside the cabinet fluctuates.


Maintenance of cooling system to prevent component burnout
The filter net of the electric control cabinet fan is blocked by cotton wool, resulting in heat dissipation failure. The filter screen needs to be cleaned weekly (can be washed with water and dried), and lubricating grease should be added to the fan bearings every quarter. If the cabinet temperature exceeds 50 ℃, check if the cooling fan has stopped running.


Record status and predict replacement cycle
After each inspection, it is necessary to record in the equipment log book: the number of times the fuse is blown, whether the sound of the relay closing is abnormal, etc. For example, if the relay operates continuously for more than 100000 times or the contacts turn black, even if there is no fault, it should be replaced to avoid sudden shutdown.
