1. Weft insertion method   
Under the action of the main and auxiliary nozzles and the special-shaped reed, the high-speed air flow generated by the released compressed air is used to draw the weft through the weaving mouth to complete the weft insertion. 
2. Opening method  
There are crank openings, cam openings, dobby openings and jacquard openings, which can be selected according to the fabric structure. The general conventional configuration is a cam opening.
3. Beat-up method    
There are three types of four-bar beating-up, six-bar beating-up and conjugate cam beating-up.
4. Let-off mechanism     
Mainly adopt electronic semi-active and semi-negative continuous let-off and mechanical semi-active and semi-negative continuous let-off.     
5. Coiling mechanism     
There are mechanical continuous reeling and electric reeling. Domestic air-jet looms are generally equipped with mechanical continuous coiling.     
6. Roll cloth
Generally, the cloth is rolled inside the machine, and the cloth outside the machine is optional.
7. Rack
Japanese models use box-type wall panel racks, and European models mostly use panel-type wall panel racks. There are two types of frames in domestic air-jet looms.
8. Transmission and braking 
The reluctance motor is directly driven and braked, and can be steplessly adjusted; super-start motor drive, electromagnetic brake braking; ordinary motor and flywheel and clutch drive, electromagnetic brake braking. 
9. Lubricate
The main transmission parts adopt oil bath type lubrication, and other parts adopt oil cup type lubrication or centralized oil supply.    
10. Yarn supply     
A floor-standing yarn supply rack is installed outside the machine, which can set 2 bobbins, 4 bobbins, 6 bobbins and 8 bobbins.
